Primate Behavior

Advising and Transfer Students

Build your future career with an interdisciplinary degree in Primate Behavior and Ecology.

Student Advising

Students interested in the PBE degree offered at Central Washington University should start by reaching out to Ms. Alyssa Endrich, the Academic Advisor for Primate Behavior and Ecology. You can schedule an appointment with her online or go by her office the Science Building, Room 107C.

You can also contact Dr. April Binder, Director of the Primate Behavior Programs at CWU to discuss coursework, your second major, research opportunities, internship possibilities, and career aspirations.

Transfer Students

If you are interested in transferring to CWU, see the Transfer Admission Criteria for admission requirements.

To see how your courses will transfer to CWU, consult the CWU Transfer Center for information on Transfer Maps specific to your second major. Generally, 100-level core courses required for the Primate Behavior and Ecology degree will transfer in (e.g., ANTH 110 Intro to Biological Anthropology, BIOL 181 General Biology, PSY 101 General Psychology).

If you have further questions about course transfers, contact the Transfer Center or Dr. April Binder, Director for Primate Behavior Programs with your questions. It would be helpful if you could include a copy of the syllabus for the course you want to transfer into CWU.
